Eliza Griswold is an American journalist, poet, and long-form nonfiction writer who is director of the Humanities Council's Program in Journalism and a Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University. Her newest book is Circle of Hope: A Reckoning with Love, Power, and Justice in an American Church (2024). Among her other works are Amity and Prosperity: One Family and the Fracturing of America (2018), which was awarded the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction, and The Tenth Parallel: Dispatches from the Fault Line Between Christianity and Islam (2010). She has been a contributing writer for The New Yorker for more than two decades.
