Elvis Peres Hernandez is a self-taught visual artist and Catholic youth worker. He grew up in Esquipulas, Chiquimula, Guatemala, which is the home of the Black Christ at the Basilica of Esquipulas and a main pilgrimage town near the border with El Salvador. In order to give back to his community, he founded a creative youth group called Artistic Space.
