Eric Ndushabandi is the vice-dean of the School of Social-Political and Administrative Sciences and a researcher at the Centre for Conflict Management at the University of Rwanda. His research areas of interest include memory policies, post-conflict reconstruction dynamics, civil society-state relationships, and democracy in Africa. His most recent research includes assessing the effectiveness of community-led security mechanisms in urban East Africa. Ndushabandi is also founder and executive director of the Centre for Research and Training on Human Rights and Democracy, a local NGO. Ndushabandi obtained his Ph.D from Louvain Academy in Belgium.
