Eric Rosand is a nonresident senior fellow in the Brookings Institution's Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World and director of “The Prevention Project: Organizing Against Violent Extremism” in Washington, D.C, a partnership that includes the Global Center on Cooperative Security and Royal United Services Institute in London. He previously was a senior U.S. State Department official.
