Sister Eugénie Babene
is a teacher at Sacred Heart College (Collège Sacre Cœur) in Dakar, Senegal,
where she teaches students between the ages of 13 and 15. She is a member of
the Institute of the Daughters of Mary, Religious of the Pious Schools
(Escolapias/Piarist Sisters), a Catholic order dedicated to promoting
education. Babene is also a student at Ecole Normale Supérieure.
