Eve Tushnet is a writer and blogger for the Patheos Catholic portal. Her work has also appeared in publications including the Atlantic, National Catholic Register, and the Washington Blade. Tushnet often addresses the intersection of sexuality, celibacy, and religion in her writing. Based in Washington, D.C., she is the author of Gay and Catholic: Accepting My Sexuality, Finding Community, Living My Faith (2014). In 1998, she converted to Catholicism during her time as an undergraduate student at Yale University.
