Fadi is a software engineer and a student studying English at the elementary level at the Jesuit Refugee Service Higher Education Center in Amman, Jordan. Originally from Baghdad, Iraq, Fadi received a bachelor's degree in 2007 and worked as a software engineer in power plants projects for seven years. He arrived in Amman in December 2014. Fadi hopes to resettle in the United States, working in software engineering, as a director-general of a corporation, or as a government official.
