Fazrin Huda serves as
director of the Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, as well
as associate professor in the Department of World Religion and Culture, at the
University of Dhaka. Previously, she was a lecturer at Bangladesh Open
University and Chowddogram Government College, as well as an assistant
coordinator for various international seminars on interreligious dialogue. Her
research largely revolves around the role of different religious and
traditional moments in different historical contexts. Following graduation
from the University of Dhaka, Huda attended the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom,
for a Ph.D. in History. Her thesis was entitled "Public diplomacy and emergence of
Bangladesh" and discussed the combination of traditional and public
diplomacy in Bangladesh's early development as a nation-state, particularly in
regard to international and regional perception of the country.
