Francesca Drumm graduated from the Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2021 with a major in international politics and a minor in French. Growing up in the post-conflict society of Northern Ireland, Drumm has witnessed the courage it has taken for citizens to break away from the political and religious partisanship of the past to become a veritable community of peace. Drumm has actively represented the voices of young people through her role as a youth advocate with the Children’s Law Centre in Belfast and as an elected member of the United Kingdom Youth Parliament. She is the founder of the #whatsfordinner Foundation, which aims to tackle the issue of child food poverty. Drumm was also selected as a 2017 Young Global Changemaker. As a 2017-2018 Doyle Undergraduate Fellow, Drumm coupled her deep interest for social justice with interreligious engagement.
