Frederick D. Aquino is professor of theology and philosophy at Abilene Christian University's Graduate School of Theology. His publications address religious epistemology, spiritual perception, John Henry Newman, and Maximus the Confessor. He is currently working on a constructive account of spiritual perception and on the relevance of John Henry Newman for issues in contemporary epistemology.
