Women Faith Leaders Fellowship Empowers Sisters to Lead Change

The Women Faith Leaders Fellowship (WFLF), hosted by the Georgetown University Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, is working to create an environment where women faith leaders are positioned at the forefront of innovative and holistic development efforts to advance the well-being of women and girls. The 2024-2025 cohort are currently working on their capstone projects, and will come the Hilltop Campus in May. 

Profile

Gabrielle M. Matlock is the outreach manager for the Berkley Center's Women Faith Leaders Fellowship. She aligns her work with championing the global impact of women faith leader's empowerment of women and girls across the diverse countries within Eastern and Western Africa. She previously served as the program manager at the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities, spearheading the operations in evidence-based experiential learning in support of the 2023 inaugural cohort of women religious faith leaders fellowship amplifying the voices of Catholic sisters from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda. Gabrielle is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Howard University School of Divinity, has a Master of Urban Planning in international and economic development from the University at Buffalo - SUNY, and is a previous graduate of Howard University.
