Grace Meng is a lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for the 6th Congressional District of New York. Meng is the first Asian American to be elected to Congress from New York. As a representative in Congress, Meng has fought to expand opportunities for communities of color, young people, and women. She sponsored the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act that was signed into law on May 20, 2021.
