Greg Erlandson is an award-winning Catholic publisher, editor, and journalist. He most recently served as director and editor in chief of Catholic News Service. Previously, he had been president and publisher of Our Sunday Visitor publishing division. Erlandson served as president of the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. A former Rome correspondent, he was one of six international experts appointed by the Vatican to propose reforms for its media operations. He has published articles and columns in a variety of publications and currently serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations. He is co-author of Pope Benedict XVI and the Sexual Abuse Crisis: Working for Reform and Renewal (2010). He studied at the graduate school of journalism of the University of California, Berkeley and received a master's degree in English literature at Loyola Marymount University.
