Husanjot Chahal is a graduate student in Georgetown University's Security Studies Program (class of 2019). She has worked in New Delhi-based research institutes exploring security issues in the South Asian region. Chahal holds a master’s degree in international security and terrorism from the University of Nottingham and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. At the Berkley Center, Chahal worked as a research assistant for Professor Jocelyne Cesari, examining religion and politics in India.
