Ira Forman is a visiting professor in Georgetown University's Center for Jewish Civilization. Forman previously served as the U.S. State Department’s special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism from May 2013 to January 2017. He was also Jewish outreach director for the 2012 Obama for America campaign and executive director of the National Jewish Democratic Council.
