Jacob Howland is the McFarlin Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tulsa. He specializes in ancient Greek philosophy and political philosophy, and he has also taught on nineteenth-century German philosophy, ethics, and logic. Howland holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
