Jane Kihungi is the director
for Women Challenged to Challenge (WCC) in Kenya. As a woman living with disability, and
having first-hand experience with matters affecting women with disabilities, she and other women in Kenya founded an organization
which would tackle issues affecting women with disabilities. WCC advocates policy inclusive of women and girls with disabilities and supports grassroots efforts. Previously Kihungi worked for United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK) as a programme officer. She holds a higher
diploma in Community Development from Kenya Institute of Management and from
Coady International Institute, a college of St. Francis Xavier University
Canada.
