Janet Graffius, Curator of Collections at Stonyhurst College since 2001, studied art history at St. Andrews and is currently studying for a Ph.D. at Aberdeen University. Graffius has also worked at the Glasgow Art Gallery, the Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London, the British Council Art Collection, the Geffrye Museum, and the National Trust. She has curated a range of exhibitions, notably the award-winning "Held in Trust" exhibition in Liverpool in 2008. She also has wide broadcasting experience and has published on a range of subjects, most recently on Mary, Queen of Scots, and the Stuarts and the Rubens engravings of the life of St. Ignatius. Since 2007, she has been involved in a conservation project working on the Martyr Vestments of Archibishop Oscar Romero and items belonging to the Jesuit Martyrs of the University of Central America. Graffius was elected as Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries in May 2013.
