Brother Jarlath D’Souza is the secretary of the Bangladesh Inter-Religious Council for Peace and Justice (BICPAJ), which he helped found. BICPAJ holds monthly discussion meetings on justice and peace issues and also provides training in conflict resolution, education, research, and women’s empowerment. D’Souza writes and lectures on interreligious peacebuilding and indigenous rights, and he is active in interfaith dialogue. He joined the Brothers of the Holy Cross in 1947 and went on to dedicate 35 years of his life to teaching and serving as a high school principal.
