Javier Urbano is a professor at Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO) in Mexico City, Mexico. He has over 20 years of experience working in international development cooperation and immigration issues. Urbano has specialized in European integration and the United States political system. He previously directed the Migration Issues Program at IBERO for four years and currently coordinates the IBERO migration studies master's program. Urbano has a bachelor's degree in international relations, a master's degree in international development cooperation, and a doctorate in international relations.
