Jay Hein is founding president of the Sagamore Institute for Policy Research, a think tank based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served as deputy assistant to the president and director of the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives for 2006 to 2008. Hein earned an M.A. from the University of Illinois-Springfield and B.A. from Eureka College.
