Jean Paul Kagabo is the executive secretary of the Genocide Survivors Students Association (Association des Etudiants Et Éleves Rescapés Du Genocide, AERG), based in Kigali, Rwanda. He took on the role in 2011 after graduating with his university degree; he was an AERG member during his studies at the University of Rwanda. Kagabo has also done work with Ibuka, an umbrella organization for over a dozen Rwandan survivors' associations.
