Dr. Jeanette S. Jouili is associate professor of religion at Syracuse University. Her research includes the areas of contemporary Islam, Islam in Europe, anthropology of religion, ethics, and religious pluralism and secularism. She is the author of Pious Practice and Secular Constraints: Women in the Islamic Revival in Europe (2015).
