Jennifer Hadden is an assistant professor in the Department of Government and Politics at
the University of Maryland. Hadden's research interests include international relations, environmental politics, and social movements. Her book Networks in Contention: The
Divisive Politics of Global Climate Change (2015) explores the
evolution and impact of the international climate change movement. The
research for this book was supported by a Fulbright Fellowship, as well as
grants from the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center, the Cornell
Center for a Sustainable Future, and the European Union Studies Association. She is a regular participant in the UN climate process and holds
an International Affairs Fellowship from the Council on Foreign
Relations for the 2015-2016 academic year. Hadden holds a B.A. from Smith College and Ph.D. from Cornell University.
