Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-California) has represented California’s 9th District in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2007. He currently serves on the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Prior to entering public service, Congressman McNerney earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of New Mexico and worked in wind energy.
