Joan Rohlfing is president and chief operating officer of the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). She served nine years as NTI's senior vice president for programs and operations, and was part of the original team that created the mission and scope for NTI in 2000. Rohlfing is a member of the Threat Reduction Advisory Committee (TRAC) of the United States Department of Defense, and chair of the Directorate Advisory Committee (DAC) of the National Security Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
