John Kelsay is distinguished research professor in the Department of Religion at Florida State University. His research and teaching focus on political and military aspects of Christian and Muslim traditions. Kelsay’s publications include, among others, Arguing the Just War in Islam (2007) and Islam and War: A Study in Comparative Ethics (1993).
