John
Kitala is the national education secretary of the African Inland Church (AIC) in
Kenya, where he oversees the operation of 3,500 primary and secondary schools. He began his
career as a school teacher but joined the church to work as a music trainer and
coordinator. In 1998, he was appointed national education secretary. In 2012,
he also took on the role of AIC’s administrative secretary. He received his
bachelor's degree from Daystar University in Biblical and Religious Studies.
