Jonas Bergmann is a Fulbright fellow in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program at Georgetown University. A passionate scholar of international development, Bergmann is particularly dedicated to human rights and migration. Focusing on human rights protection, he has worked for the International Human Rights Unit of the German Foreign Service and for the Chilean National Human Right Institute. Additionally, Bergmann has committed himself extensively to civil society organizations, primarily to refugee and migration networks. He is a current member of Amnesty International and board member of the Latin American Dialogue for Development at Georgetown University. He completed his B.A. in International Affairs with distinction in Dresden and spent semesters abroad in Chile and France.
