Jonathan Tran is professor of theological ethics at the Divinity School at Duke University where he also serves on the core faculty of Asian American and Diaspora Studies. He is author of Asian Americans and the Spirit of Racial Capitalism (2021) and co-edits the book series Reflection and Theory in the Study of Religion for Oxford University Press/American Academy of Religion. Prior to Duke, he held the George W. Baines Chair of Religion at Baylor University where he also served as associate dean for faculty at the Honors College.
