Katherine (Kat) Woodard (SFS’22) graduated from the School of Foreign Service in 2022, where she majored in culture and politics. As a Music City native, Kat sought out ways to bring the creative culture of Nashville to the Hilltop. On campus, Kat worked in the Maker Hub and served as chair of Georgetown’s Media Board. Over the course of Kat’s undergraduate experience, she made a home for herself in the Student Advocacy Office, where she helped students navigate Georgetown’s adjudication process. Kat’s academic passion for comparative religion brought her to Georgetown, but her involvement in the Georgetown Opportunities for Leadership Development program made the Hilltop feel most like home. In her free time, Kat designed and wrote for Georgetown’s intersectional feminist magazine, enjoyed long-distance running (rather slowly), and researched new methods for interfaith dialogue. She was a 2021 Education and Social Justice Fellow.
