Kiwon Bang graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in Qatar in 2016 with a major in international economics. Born in South Korea and living in British Columbia, Canada, he studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong during the spring 2015 semester and blogged for the Junior Year Abroad Network. He explored what change and challenge Hong Kong society will face after the democracy movement in fall 2014 and expanded his economic insight toward East Asia with courses about the economies of China, Hong Kong, and other Asian countries.
