Kristin (Kara) Lara Angan is a sophomore at the Ateneo de Manila University. She is majoring in political science with a minor in urban and regional development. For 2021-2022, she serves as the president of the undergraduate student government. She is slated to graduate in 2024. Her strong interest in politics, development communication, and organizing have led her to engage with electoral reform campaigns, work with farmers and union workers, and youth organizing. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading books, writing about music, and taking care of her cat, Phoebe Whiskers (named after her favorite musician, Phoebe Bridgers). She is a member of the IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows Program 2021 cohort.
