Lauren DeVeau is the director of institutional relations at the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University (Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya) in Lima, Peru. She designs international programs and teaches courses related to social justice, international relations, and building sustainable communities. Outside of the university, DeVeau works on community projects in the areas of education, women’s empowerment, English, and community development. She has also previously worked in Campus Ministry at Loyola University Chicago and has taught English in Ecuador. DeVeau has an undergraduate degree in Spanish language and theology and a master’s degree in social justice and community development, both from Loyola University Chicago.
