Lissa McGregor is the Ojibwe language teacher at A.B. Ellis Public School in Espanola, Ontario and is a member of Whitefish River First Nation. She has been teaching at A.B. Ellis for six years and teaches students as young as junior kindergarten and as old as grade eight. Her students have the option of learning Ojibwe as their core language subject or as an elective. McGregor enjoys collaborating with fellow Ojibwe language teachers and educating the students of her community.
