Luke Brown is an A.B./M.A. student in the Master of Arts in English Program at Georgetown who will graduate in December 2018. He is working with first-generation college students as part of the Community Scholars Program and is researching teaching pedagogy in multicultural spaces. He also works as the graduate teaching assistant for the Berkley Center's Doyle Engaging Difference Program, intervening directly in students' writings and providing assistance to the program more generally. After graduation he will begin a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship in South Africa in January 2019.
