Mandiaye Petit Badji is the coordinator of the Senegalese organization A Voice for Youth (Parole aux Jeunes). Through his work at Parole aux Jeunes, Badji uses social media to connect with Senegal’s large youth population. He sees his primary roles as providing youth with critical information, especially on sensitive issues like reproductive health, and encouraging youth to take pride in and contribute to their own country rather than turning to emigration. Badji also serves as a consultant for UNFPA on youth and hosts a community radio show that tackles issues affecting youth.
