Marcelo Coppetti, S.J. is the Vice President of Student Ministry at the Catholic University of Uruguay, where he helps integrate the university's mission and identity into the school's educational focus. He has also taught courses in economics and business ethics. In addition, through his work at the university Coppetti helps strengthen the relationship between the local Jesuit province and Fe y Alegría, both in Uruguay and throughout Latin America. Coppetti is originally from Montevideo but has studied in Spain, France, Belgium, and Chile after earning an undergraduate degree from the University of the Republic in Uruguay. His theological degree is in economic and social ethics, and he is completing his doctorate degree from the Catholic University of Chile.
