Mark A. Noll is a research professor of history at Regent College. He previously served as the Francis A. McAnaney Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame, and before that as a professor of history and theological studies at Wheaton College. His research focuses on the history of Christianity in the United States and Canada. Professor Noll is the author of many books, including In the Beginning Was the Word: The Bible in American Public Life (2015).
