Mark Chan is the Earnest Lau Professor of Systematic Theology and the director of the Centre for the Study of Christianity in Asia at Trinity Theological College (TTC) in Singapore. He mainly teaches on hermeneutics, homiletics, and Christology. He was editor of the center’s publication, Church & Society in Asia Today, from 2007 to 2013 and helmed its Faith and Society research initiative before assuming the role of center director. Prior to joining the faculty at TTC, he served with Eagles Communications as its resident theologian and executive vice-president (1979-2005), as well as honorary preaching pastor for Evangel Christian Church (1981-2011). Chan earned his Ph.D. at the University of Nottingham.
