Mark Hetfield is the president and CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). He has also worked for the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, where he led a study on the treatment of asylum seekers in the United States. He is a graduate of Georgetown Law Center.
