Matt Torney is the associate artistic director of Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C. Originally from Belfast, Torney worked as a freelance director in Ireland before completing an MFA at Columbia University. Torney also served as director of programming for New York City's Origin Theatre and as associate director of Dublin's Rough Magic Theatre Company.
