Michael (Mike) Hoffman is a childhood sexual abuse survivor. Mike documented his therapeutic healing journey in his book Acts of Recovery: The Story of One Man’s Ongoing Healing from Sexual Abuse by a Priest (2013). He is the recent past board president of Prevent Child Abuse – Illinois, chairman of the Hope and Healing Committee of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and co-founder of The Healing Voices Magazine, a publication dedicated to promoting justice and healing for clerical abuse survivors.
