Michelle Hadebe (SFS'25) hails from a township called Mamelodi in Pretoria, South Africa, and she graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Qatar in 2025, having majored in international politics and minored in African studies. She is deeply passionate about education, social justice, and Africa. Michelle explored her passions by organizing educational and social justice programs through the Black Students and African Students Association, of which she served as co-president. When not at university, she taught summer camps in under-resourced parts of South Africa. She enjoys reading African and Afro-Caribbean literature and traveling the world. She was a 2024 Education and Social Justice Fellow.
