Miguel Angel Ayala de Orellana is an eighth grade teacher at the public school in Carasque, Nueva Trinidad, Chalatenango in El Salvador, where he is also currently director of the Carasque school and represents educational interests on the community directorate. A Carasque native, he studied at the local popular school through the ninth grade until ultimately becoming a popular teacher himself. He worked in the school without training until 2001, after which he entered a teaching certification program. Orellana has since held official teaching positions in both Los Pozos and Carasque. He is also the father of two elementary school students.
