Mincheol Kim is a Jesuit scholastic as well as a graduate student majoring in Theology at Sogang University in South Korea. He is focusing his Jesuit studies on philosophy and ethics. Kim is especially interested in the connection between philosophical thinking, non-violent civil disobedience, and eco-friendly manners of living. Before joining the Society of Jesus, he taught religion in the Philippines at the Xavier School and worked as a manager for the Korea Asset Management Corporation. Kim was also a part of the Berkley Center's Catholic Social Teaching and the Global Future of Development project.
