Mónica Ramírez serves as the manager of Christian social engagement for World Vision Guatemala. Ramírez is a native Guatemalan and born-again evangelical who has worked with various churches for over 27 years through the Latin American Theological Fraternity, where she focused on matters such as education, health, economic development, child well-being, and most recently, the life of Christian commitment. She began her work with World Vision in 1999, where her principal role is to promote relationships with other churches. Mónica is also a founding member of the Evangelical Society for Socio-religious Studies, which encourages the unity of the church in the community and at the national level and coordinates with other evangelical and Catholic churches. She holds master’s and a bachelor’s degrees in biblical arts from the Central American Theological Seminary.
