Mori Taheripour serves as the Senior Advisor for Sport for Development at the US Agency of International Development (USAID). In this role, she serves as the technical advisor for all Agency programs related to sport and development and manages all relationships with professional sports leagues and related player organizations. She also provides strategic direction and facilitates coordination within the Agency for all partnerships that focus on sports in international development. A faculty member in the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, she is also a member of the senior leadership team of the Wharton Sports Business Initiative. The initiative is a partnership that she helped launch among top level business leaders, faculty, and students that generates and disseminates knowledge about the sports industry through educational programs, partnerships, global forums, and research. She earned her MBA from The Wharton School and received her BA in psychology and premedical studies from Barnard College.
