Muhammad Alhassan is the registrar of the Da’wah Institute, Islamic Education Trust, Nigeria (DIN/IET). He was head of research for the vaccine hesitancy survey conducted by the Da’wah Institute in January 2022, and for Realistic Alternative to Violence, an initiative of the Da’wah Institute in the area of building resilience and preventing violent extremism. He has also engaged in other peace projects, trainings, and consultancies for local and international organizations.
