Bishop Dr. Munib A. Younan is bishop emeritus of the Evangelical Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, former Lutheran World Federation president (2010-2017), and a Palestinian refugee. Bishop Younan was the first to translate the Augsburg Confession into Arabic, and he is also an active, founding member of various ecumenical and interfaith dialogue initiatives in Jerusalem.
